Antibiotic with bacterial inhibitor
FORMULA: Each tablet contains: Amoxicillin trihydrate 200 mg, Clavulanic Acid 50 mg; excipients q.s. ad.
INDICATIONS: Treatment of infections produced by gram positive and gram negative bacteria that are sensitive to amoxillin. The addition of clavulanic acid, as inhibitor of beta-lactamase, extends its spectrum to gram positive and several gram negative bacteria, that are producers of those enzymes.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: It is administered by oral route at a rate of one tablet for each 16 Kg of weight.
