Wide spectrum Tetracycline
FORMULA: Oxytetracyline Chlorhydrate 110mg; excipients q.s. ad 1 mL.
INDICATIONS: Bacteriostatic antibiotic for the treatment and prevention of infections caused by microorganisms that are sensitive to oxytetracycline (local and general) and prevention of secondary bacterial infections. It is the antibiotic to be elected when the germ that causes the disease is not known.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Slow intravenous (do not use this route on dogs), intramuscular, subcutaneous. Bovines, equines, camelids: 3-4 mL/110 Kg. Calves, ovines, pigs: 2-3 mL/55 Kg. Minor animals and suckling pigs: 0.15-0.25/2.5 Kg. mL/5 Kg.
