Agranco has developed the most technologically advanced stabilized chlorine dioxide formulation with the commercial name: Vibrex®.
Vibrex® offers all the advantages of chlorine, with superior performance without any of the inconveniences.
Description
Vibrex® is a colorless, odorless liquid, nontoxic, non corrosive and nonflammable. It is a wide spectrum bactericide, fungicide, virucide and algaecide to be used as a disinfectant in many applications involving human and animal consumption foods and beverages. Vibrex® is also used in the disinfection and prevention of contamination in hospitals, hotels and restaurants, etc.
Vibrex® destroys and controls the development of micro-organisms such as bacteria, mould, algae and virus. Approved by the Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ) of the United States under chapter No. 173.309.
Ingredients
Special blend of sodium and calcium salts
The Vibrex® complex is a combination of oxygen and chlorine as CIO2 in an aqueous solution, which is the most secure form for handling and storage. Used according to the recommendations, it is harmless and insipid; it is 160% more effective than chlorine and 10 times more stable, and will not dissipate. Vibrex® is more economic to use without the toxicity of chlorine.

Biosecurity Packages For The Food Industry
Financial losses and public concern due to bacterial infection and "food scares" are of increasing concern to the food industry, consumers and regulatory authorities. Strenuous efforts are made to prevent disease and infection spreading whilst stock is on the farm - but it is most often at the processing plant where infection and contamination is picked up. The problems caused by bacterial infection apply to all sectors of the food industry, including vegetable washing, fish processing and meat production. While great care and attention is often taken to minimize the risk of infection from processing staff and other food handlers, relatively ineffectual biocides and disinfectants are used to treat process water and equipment.
Intended to compliment existing good practice in other areas of plant hygiene, AGRANCO S.A. is pleased to be able to offer a complete package of treatment systems that will ensure only safe and contamination free food reaches the consumer.
AGRANCO S.A. offers chlorine dioxide based biocides and hygiene treatments to overcome the risks associated with contamination of food by using chlorine dioxide technology.
Chlorine dioxide is several times more powerful than other biocides commonly used, yet has no associated taste or odor problems . In many situations, we are able to offer custom designed "Intensive Care" programs, in association with other specialist companies. The “Intensive Care” program covers all aspects of hygiene management within the plant hygiene giving complete security and peace of mind. Regardless of size, AGRANCO S.A. is able to offer a complete range of products to ensure safe and contamination free food.

VIBREX seafood as stabilized chlorine dioxide in a aqueous solution, has proven by extensive overseas experience and local trials in Brazil and Australia have proven to significantly reduce bacterial and fungal growth in seafood.
Ice incorporating chlorine dioxide was effective in reducing odor in both green and cooked prawns
Trials conducted on farmed Tasmanian salmon, showed large reductions in bacterial counts when chlorine dioxide was sprayed to deslim the belly cavity.
Blackspot on green prawns was reduced in the presence of chlorine dioxide.
Big reductions in bacteria counts on fish over 24 hour period using a ice slurry containing chlorine dioxide in the belly cavity.
