This is an excellent work and as in ovo inoculation of vaccines, nutrients, etc. in eggs are becoming more popular as it improves the health of a day old chick and it gives him better chance of survival. So far this technique of in ovo inoculation is quite expensive and not in the reach of majority of commercial poultry in the third world countries but i believe this technique is future of poultry nutrition.

I have a questions about the inoculation of nutrients, as before hatch, a chick receive all his nutrition to develop his body form the yolk. Digestive system of the chick is not active in egg, it is only activated after hatch, then how come injecting nutrients, in this case amino acids, could contribute in improving the health of the chick?
