Vencomatic sets foot in Spain

Poultry equipment producer Vencomatic from the Netherlands announces to open a new operation in Spain, Vencomatic Iberica s.l. This new operation is the result of a joint venture with the Spanish nest and feed equipment producer GURA Automatizacionas Avicolas s.l. At the exhibition Fima Ganadera in Zaragossa from March 24^th till 27^th, the new company will present itselves to the Spanish poultry sector.

GURA produces automatic nest boxes and feed equipment for broiler breerders and has a very strong brand in the Spanish market. GURA currently has a production unit with 7 employees in Reus, Tarragogna, which will be renamed to Vencomatic Iberica. The current general manager of GURA, Manuel Raigel, will stay in charge of the new Vencomatic Iberica operation. He is very pleased to join Vencomatic: "the company has a large knowledge base and product package, which helps us to grow in the future. Especially for the alternative layer market, we think the products of  Vencomatic are an important addition to our current product package."

As the marketleader in innovative poultry housing and egg collection, Vencomatic is also very pleased with their new operation in Spain. General manager of Vencomatic, mr. Koen Boot stated: "After having set up a production facillity in Brazil, starting a joint-venture in China, and opening several branch offices in the USA, Canada, the UK, Poland and the Far East, this step fits very well to the strategy of Vencomatic to have a strong local presence world wide. In this way we can create the right match of products for local customers, meeting their expectations and demands. By joining forces, we can all benefit of scale and knowledge available in the group of companies."
