Avitech at VIV India 2007

Avitech participated at VIV India 2007, the first edition of VIV in India held from the 1st - 3rd Nov 2007 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

The themes of both the exhibition and the conference focused on improving efficiency and processing techniques for the Poultry, Dairy and Aqua industries in the Indian market as well as its neighboring Countries.

Avitech, along with 115 exhibitors from 23 Countries participated in this event as an exhibitor and displayed its own products and offered technical knowledge. The event saw a quality of visitors, with 20% of them being International.

Avitech actively participated at the Speakers Forum, a technical session organised to impart the transfer of Knowledge and Technology to visitors. Dr. V. Ramasubba Reddy, GM, Nutrition, presented a topic on “The Management of Nutrition in Layers”.

The presentation generated a huge interest in the commercial layer farming community. Dr. Reddy, during his presentation dwelt on objectives of various life stages of commercial layers and presented nutritional tips to overcome the challenges faced during each life stage.

Another keynote topic was addressed by Dr. Harish Dharne on Organic Trace Minerals. The topic “The Transition from Organic Minerals to Performance Minerals” gave insight on various organic minerals present in the market.

Dr. Dharne provided information on the “Performance Criteria” selected by Zinpro Animal Health Inc., USA, to classify their organic trace minerals (Availamins) as Performance minerals.
