What really calls my attention when seeing the photos is that although the birds feathers look very clean the foot pads seem to be very injured as if the litter was wet. Wet litter
may be caused by many things, among them HIGH SALT in feed. However we have seen wet litter associated to other things such as improperly processed soy bean meals, mycotoxins
in corn etc. All commentators seem to agree on salt, light, density and learned behaviour. A very intersting follow up would be to know if increased salt in feed
( nest fee batch) solve sthe problem. That we would like to know.
