Dear Sir,
Your data about Alphitobius diaperinus is really interesting. This is the common problem for commercial broiler producers.
If you have any idea about depopulation of these insects (In both condition , present and absence of birds) please suggest me.

Thanks

Dear colleague

Good article about Spatial distribution and population fluctuation of the darkling beetle Alphitobius diaperinus. The fight against this insect is very difficult. When the building is empty, can use various insecticides sold on the market. However, when the building contains animals, it is impossible to fight against this insect, because it hides everywhere and insecticides are dangerous for chickens. Can reduce the insect population by adding lime in the litter.
The best way to control these insects, it is the crawl
