It is with great pleasure that the organizing committee of the 23rd lntemational Pig Veterinary Society Congress 2014 [IPVS 2014] invites you to participate in our meeting that will be held from June 8-11th, 2014 in Cancun, Mexico.
Cancun is a tropical paradise that encompasses top class hotels and resorts, golf courses and many cultural attractions, as well as an intemational airport with direct flights from Europe, North and South America at very accessible rates. We have a state of the art congress venue that offers all the necessary infrastructure for a meeting of this relevance, and a very experienced team of experts to support us in the organization of IPVS 2014 so we accomplish our most important objective: a successful scientific event in a very relaxing and friendly environment.
In order to maintain the high scientific standard of IPVS the organizing committee has already started to integrate a premium panel of intemational and national swine experts into its scientific committee. Thus, allowing participants to acquire new and relevant information related to swine health, reproduction, nutrition, management, environment, welfare and other fields of interest.
Finally, our social program is organized to strengthen networking among our fellow colleagues in an atmosphere of tradition and cultural activities. This wonderful setting is surrounded of mangroves, reefs, tropical rainforest, cenotes, white sand beaches and colossal pyramids such as Chichen llza, one of the Modern Seven Wonders of the World.
Consequently, for all the members of the organizing committee, and the entire Mexican team, it will be a great honor and a pleasure to share with you ourtraditional hospitality in this 1 breathtaking location, the Mexican Caribbean and the Mayan World.

The Venue

DO I NEED VISA TO TRAVEL TO MEXICO?
Turist Migration Control
When you arrive to Mexico you will need to provide valid passport and a “Migration Format” known in Spanish as a “FMM” form.
This form is provided for free by your travel agent, airline or at the airport point of entry.
A visitor that does not require a visa, do not need to fill this FMM Form. This last point applies to USA and Canada visitors.
The immigration officer at passport control may also ask you to provide economic solvency documents, passport that proof being a frequent international traveler and return ticket to your country. Officer will validate your documents and will stamp the FMM Form, giving you back a copy of this form which you must keep and provide when you leave Mexico.
If you lose this form, you will have to go to an immigration desk at the airport and may have to pay for it. So we strongly recommend attaching it to your passport so it cannot be misplaced.
