Nutri Ad continues to consolidate its presence in the Indian market and after its success with ADIMIX Coated 30, a specific coated form of sodium butyrate, has now brought in Unike in the Indian market.
Unike is a multi-angle defense program for mycotoxins which apart from binding polar mycotoxins and aids bio-transformation of the toxin molecules by facilitating growth of the bacteria which perform the function. It also supports the liver function with botanical extracts specially selected and with a unique blend of anti-oxidants UNIKE also alleviates the ill-effects of mycotoxins which work as free radicals and promote auto-oxidation.
Stephan Bauwens, Technical Manager, Nutri Ad unveiled the product at a seminar held in Hyderabad, India on August 25 which was attended by a large number of farmers, feed manufacturers and leading consultants. He stressed upon the importance in investing in mycotoxin control as all the impacts of productivity are not yet known, new toxins are being discovered all the time and even at low levels combination of several myco-toxins can cause significant damage to livestock. He stressed upon the benefits of UNIKE in terms of recovery of performance, restoration of normalcy and the fact that it does not bind micro nutrients. The presentation was supported by data collected from research trials and actual on-farm usage which showed UNIKE to deliver a commendable performance and a high Return On Investment.

Nutri Ad also introduced Ultracid K, a blend of organic acids specially selected for the Indian market on the same occasion.
Unike will be distributed in India by Sylon Biopharma, a company based in Hyderabad with a strong presence in south India, home to 80% of India's breeder population. Mr S Shyam Sunder, Managing Director of Sylon expressed his optimism of establishing UNIKE as a leading brand. "We have a reputation of establishing products which appear to be expensive at first sight, but if you look at the performance they pay back for themselves by superior performance adding to the farm's profitability. We have been looking around for a Toxin Inactivator especially to protect the breeder's investment from the ill-effects of multiple toxins and UNIKE seems to be the right answer. Our team is excited to take this concept to the market", he said.
Saikat Ray, Business Manager South Asia, Nutri Ad expressed his confidence with the products. " We prefer to work in a focused manner and instead of bringing a whole array of products in the marketplace we like to introduce them one at a time. Adimix is doing very well with Lemmens Shardlow who distribute that product, and we expect Sylon to focus on UNIKE as its top priority", he said.
