ADDCON Academy and ADDCON Focus on grain and feed preservation in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam

On September 30th 2014, ADDCON organized an ADDCON academy, on “FEED & GRAIN Preservation” in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. ADDCON Academy is a product training for our distributor’s sales teams. The event is focused on imparting thorough knowledge & information on the ADDCON products, so that distributors’ team is technically well informed when they consult the clients in their region. 



The event was aptly organized by ADDCON’s Technical Application Manager based in Vietnam – Mr. Van Tho Minh, and was attended by the marketing teams of distributors from Vietnam, Thailand, Pakistan & Malaysia.


Mr. Kurt Wegleitner, MD of ADDCON GmbH welcomed in his opening remarks the participants of Academy and presented the data on wastage of grains in different Asian countries due to poor storage conditions and due the lack of proper preservation.

Dr. Anant Deshpande (left), Regional Manager of ADDCON in South East Asia was the first speaker. In his presentation he emphasized on the importance of preservation of grains & feed and on the use of organic acids in preservation and its advantages on improving the animal performance.

Dr. Kai Kuhlman and Dr. Ryan Von De Leon, Technical Application Managers of ADDCON from Thailand and the Philippines presented different ADDCON products which focus on the preservation of feed and grains. Dr. Von also presented the data on commercial trials with ADDCON XF Superfine which had been conducted at a reputed feed mill in South Vietnam.

The same day, ADDCON in cooperation with its country distributor ‘Au Viet’ organized a seminar for local customers. About 50 participants, most of them being consultants and feed millers from Southern Vietnam attended the seminar. Eng. Don Hagunbuloi, the eminent feed technologist from Philippines, was the guest speaker. Eng. Don shared his vast experience on mechanical and chemical solutions in the grain & feed preservation with the attendees. Customers gave very positive feedback on the seminar and were thankful to Eng. Don and ADDCON for highly informative seminar and the solutions provided, in Feed and grain preservation.
