Olivier Desrues joins Silvateam as new Animal Nutrition Expert

Olivier brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Silvateam, having focused both his academic and professional research on the chemical analysis of tannins and their effects on animal nutrition.

During his Ph.D. in Veterinary Parasitology at Copenhagen Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (Marie Curie project “LegumePlus”), he researched the effect of tannins and other natural bioactive products against various gastrointestinal threats in ruminants.

As a technical manager, Olivier will be in charge of maintaining and developing new contacts with distributors and key customers from around the world, taking care of the various activities which bring together scientific research and Silvafeed® commercial activity, a relationship that has always been a key performance indicator for Silvateam.

In this sense, we would like to welcome Olivier on board and we are confident that the new resource will help the company keep fueling the knowledge base on tannins properties and applications.
