Brazilian poultry farming, with the cooperation of the UBA (Brazilian Poultry Association), ABEF (Brazilian Chicken Producers and Exporters Association), FACTA (Apinco Foundation for Poultry Science & Technology) and FIERGS (Federation of Industries for the State of Rio Grande do Sul), will hold the 21st Brazilian Poultry Congress at the FIERGS Exhibition & Convention Centre in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, May 25, 26, 27 and 28 of 2009.

This is an historic event, which celebrates the first gathering of the most important organizations of the Poultry Industry and fuses the successful FACTA Conference – a well-established Brazilian Technical-Scientific event – with the Brazilian Poultry Congress, organized by the UBA and ABEF, which has been taking place in Brasília for the last few years.

These two events, with their technical-scientific presentations along with a large-scale sales exhibition will give the Brazilian Poultry Congress a new format, becoming Brazil’s Largest Poultry Farming Event, organized and coordinated by the nation’s main poultry industry organizations..

To further highlight the event's significance, contacts are being made to set up meetings with the main national and international agencies in poultry farming. This way, the largest event in the Brazilian poultry industry will also become a major meeting point for the world’s poultry farmers

Commercial Exhibition

Held in one of the best trade fair pavilions in Brazil, the Commercial Exhibition of the 21st Brazilian Poultry Congress has everything it needs to become the largest Brazilian poultry trade fair and one of the largest events in poultry farming worldwide, welcoming national and international exhibitors, from all areas of the poultry industry – nutrition, sanity, genetics, equipment, laboratories – as well as visitors connected to the industry, like business owners, farmers, veterinarians, technicians, researchers, leaders of organizations and trade associations and people from all professions related to poultry farming.
