Phytobiotics hosted annual IQ Inside Seminar in Kufstein, Austria

Eltville, Germany, 2016-10-06 – The company Phytobiotics, producer and vendor of well-known feed additives including phytogenic supplements, flavors, organically bound trace elements and products for commercial biogas production, hosted their annual IQ Inside Seminar from 23 to 27 September in Kufstein, Austria, with 120 guests from 4 continents discussing novel ways for a healthy intestine.
Among the speakers were Dr. W. Rabsch from the Robert-Koch-Institut Wernigerode, who spoke about Salmonella and current insights into an old enemy. Prof. A. Abudabos from the King Saud University in Saudi-Arabia gave an insight about Prevention of Salmonella and Clostridium perfringens in poultry production. Furthermore, PhD candidate G.D. Xue from the University of New England in Australia spoke about modern solutions for controlling Necrotic Enteritis. Prof. K. Männer from the Freie Universität Berlin gave an overview about dietary strategies that reduce intestinal damage in post-weaning pigs. Prof. K. Eder from the Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen threw light on peripartum stress in dairy cows. Phytobiotics specialists from around the world summarized the newest insights concerning the profitable production of ruminants, pigs and poultry.
Apart from the seminar the guests had the chance to visit Phytobiotics’ production site in Neuendettelsau, Bavaria, which is of highest technical standard and has a maximum capacity of 8000t feed additives per year.
