yield of milk from cattle

Dear Seniors

please guid me what type of water required to get maximum yeild of milk from cattle (Cross bred). Can some body guide me that what should be the PH, EC, chloride,calcium,magnessium,carbonates etc for a cattle drinking water to get maximum result.

At the Animal Health Service we use the following criteria for good water for milk cattle:

Cattle
Good bad
pH 5 – 8,5 4 en 9
ammonia (mg/L 2 10
nitrite (mg/L) 0,1 1,0
nitrate (mg/L) 100 200
Chlorid (mg/L) 250 2000
sodium (mg/L) 800 1500
Sulphate (mg/L) 100 250
Iron (mg/L) 0,5 10
Manganese (mg/L) 1,0 2,0
Hardness (°German) 15 25
COD (mg/L) 50 200
Hydrogen sulphide not detectable ( 0,02 mg/L)
E. coli (cvu/mL) 100 100
total col. Form units (22 °C) 100 000 100 000

Drinking water for cattle is a useful typic for milk cattle as well as humans. The chemical characters of drinking water
are asunder,

pH range = 6.5-8.5 ppm

TDS = 300-500 ppm

Nitrate as Nitrogen = 1.0 ppm

Chloride = 250 ppm

Potassium = 10 ppm

Sulphate = 250 ppm

Sodium = 50 ppm

Magnesium = 50 ppm

Calcium = 100 ppm

Choloride = 01 ppm

Iron ( Fe) = 0.3 ppm

Zinic (Zn) = 3.0 ppm

Arsenic = 0.01ppm

Copper = 1.0 ppm

Lead = 0.01ppm

Manganese = 0.05 ppm

Selenium = 0.01 ppm

Carbon tetrachloride = .002 ppm
