04/07/2011 | This an interesting article regrding finding ways to increase milk out put/animal.From a farmers' point of view increase in animal yield directly affects his econonmic position however the experiment must continue to verify any odd effect of using chromium on health of animal if used for a longer period or as a part of routine in animals' ration

Thank you for this good article. Actually I'm highly recommend this additive for high milking cows. We currently use this mineral in our fresh and high yield group. If I compare before and after performance. I can say our satisfaction is very good. But for every farm it's very necessary to evaluate cost/benefitb ratio.

Efforts of author are highly appreciable. Chromium improves feed intake and milk production" style="font-size:inherit;font-weight:inherit;font-family:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;">milk production in dairy animals. As far as, harmful effects of health or any long term problem is concerned, it has have identified that Chromium propionate (a source of chromium) is safe to use in dairy animals and has been approved by USFDA.
