Livestock Management Department (Pakistan)
The Department of Livestock Management has been engaged in supporting the livestock sector through training, research and technology transfer to various groups of the stakeholders. Improved technologies are identified and developed for transfer to the industry. Department staff has been involved directly and indirectly in over 30 training courses for extension workers, and progressive farmers. The Department is staffed with two professors, one associate professor, two assistant professors, three lecturers, two graduate interns and 69 supporting members, totalling 80. Five PhD, 47 MSc Hons and 458 DVM students have been enrolled at the department.
