Dear Readers,

As the President of its Organizing Committee, I have the pleasure to announce that in September, 2011 (6-9), we will be holding the XXII Latin American Poultry Congress in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This extraordinary event that will carry the slogan: "Latin America: an environmentally-friendly world food reservoir" will be held at the premises of La Rural, the largest convention center in the country.

Argentine poultry employers and business people feel honored to have been selected by the Latin American Poultry Association (ALA) to organize this event; it is a great challenge for us but we are sure we will meet and even exceed everybody's expectations.

Everyone with an interest in poultry will find options to participate; in addition to the scientific and business opportunities available in this type of event, the 2011 Congress will host the largest product and services exhibition ever to be held in Latin America.
Whether as a participant, presenter, sponsor or companion, you will certainly enjoy the very appealing social agenda and the several galas that the Congress will offer. Imagine this inspiring event coming about in a charming and cosmopolitan place like Buenos Aires.

Make sure to visit this website often; you will be pleased to read updates on the Congress, new postings on program activities, new sponsorship opportunities as well as a list of recommended hotels with their rates, suggested tours and all the information that visitors may need to plan their trip.

In the name of the Organizing Committee of the 2011 Congress and in my own name, let me express that I would feel highly honored if you attend this event that will be the largest Latin American Poultry Conference and Exposition of the coming years.

Héctor José Motta
President - Organizing Committee
XXII Latin American Poultry Congress
